Marsh bellflower

An unobtrusive and delicate little wetland number.

MARSH BELLFLOWER (Campanula aparinoides)

This unobtrusive, weak-stemmed number gets its support from surrounding sedges and other vegetation. The leaves have short, hooked hairs that help it grasp other plants – or your hand if you run it up the stem!

Grows with wild mint, bugleweed, Sartwell’s sedge, and hairy-fruited sedge.
