This yellow loosestrife is ranked S2, or imperilled, in Manitoba where it reaches the northwest extent of its range. Narrow leaves (opposite or in whorls) and yellow upside-down flowers make it an attractive member of wet meadow and wet prairie habitats. Grows well with sprangletop grass, tufted hairgrass, sticky asphodel, flat-topped goldenrod, many-flowered aster and Nuttall’s sunflower.
