A hemiparasite on asters, native grasses and some non-native grasses.

SWAMP LOUSEWORT (Pedicularis lanceolata)

Swamp lousewort is similar in appearance to common lousewort, but is taller, blooms later and  prefers wetter soils. It’s hemiparasitic on asters, native grasses and some non-native grasses. Often found in the company of sedges, sweetgrass, cordgrass, heart-leaved alexanders and shorter willows. Swamp lousewort is only available as a combination with one of its host plants.
