A curious plant of medium to moist woodlands, lopseed is ranked S3 (vulnerable) in Manitoba. True to its name, lopseed forms unique pairs of downward pointing seeds on long terminal spikes, each pair arranged 90 degrees to the next. Flowers are pink and white.
