WHORLED MILKWEED (Asclepias verticillata)
A very fragrant and delicate-looking milkweed with long, skinny leaves in whorls of 3 – 6. Whorled milkweed spreads by rhizomes but won’t assert dominance because its foliage is so fine. Ranked S3 (vulnerable) in Manitoba.
